Public Infrastructure Development
Our objective is to systematically undertake the repair and maintenance of any unnamed or non-privately owned locations within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Council. This includes the provision of essential public facilities and services required by the community. Additionally, all physical constructions within the council’s boundaries must be carried out in compliance with the regulations and guidelines issued by the Urban Development Authority, the Building Research Institute, and other relevant governmental agencies.

Our primary objective is to enhance public health by effectively exercising relevant authorities, optimizing the use of available resources, and maintaining a health-secure environment free from communicable and non-communicable diseases. Furthermore, we aim to develop the city of Kegalle into a disaster-resilient and proactive urban center. Waste, often identified as materials deemed insignificant in daily use, has emerged as a significant global challenge, including in Sri Lanka. Accordingly, through systematic waste management, our goal is to transform Kegalle into a serene and beautiful city.

Additionally, we focus on ensuring access to basic and primary education, including foundational and interactive learning, for every child.
